Meghan and Harry’s daughter Lilibet Diana added to the royal line of succession
Lilibet Diana is now officially a member of the royal family!
On Monday, Lilibet Diana, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's youngest child, was added to the British royal family's line of succession website. Lilibet is now ninth in line for the throne, according to the list, which was updated just one day after Film Vodka revealed her disappearance from the website.
In June, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child. Some speculated that the palace's relocation was intended to send a message to the estranged couple because of the timing.
On the Royal Rata podcast, ITV's Chris Ship said, "You have to ask what has taken them so long."
He went on to add, “All they have got to do is hit the paragraph button and put in a different number. They must have done it before. They did it for Archie.”
Archie, Lilibet's two-year-old brother, was placed seventh in line beneath his father just two weeks after his birth in 2019. Prior to the official list being updated, Prince Andrew had filled Lilibet's position after her brother.
